SEN Teaching Assistant – Join Our Inspiring Team in Norwich!
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs, disabilities, and behavioural or mental health challenges? Our beautiful independent SEN school is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team. We provide high-quality education across mainstream settings for primary and secondary ages, creating an inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.
This opportunity is set in Quidenham, so a full and valid driving licence is a non-negotiable factor!
What You’ll Do:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs in the classroom and across the school.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning and care programmes.
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and social development.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Full driving licence – essential due to our rural location.
- Child Only Enhanced DBS on the update service – this will fast-track your application.
- Experience in SEN or supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible, team-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
