SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant – Hayes – February 2026
We are seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Hayes from January on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This role will involve 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs as well as assisting in small group interventions.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans, adapt resources, and provide emotional and behavioural support. This position is ideal for someone with experience in SEN or for a passionate candidate looking to develop their expertise in a rewarding setting.
Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, or communication needs

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach

Ability to follow instructions while also showing initiative

A genuine passion for children’s learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
