Behaviour Support Assistant – Central Manchester (M14)

Teaching Personnel, the largest education agency in the UK, is actively seeking a passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join a SEN primary school in central Manchester. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to higher-ability pupils with special educational needs.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the SEN coordinator to create individual support plans.
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group support to facilitate pupils in reaching their learning goals.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster the social and emotional development of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.

Requirements:

  • Advantageous to have prior experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
  • Ability to engage and support higher-ability pupils effectively.
  • Psychology graduates or individuals with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
