Behaviour Support Assistant – Central Manchester (M14)

Teaching Personnel, the largest education agency in the UK, is actively seeking a passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join a SEN primary school in central Manchester. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide essential support to higher-ability pupils with special educational needs.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
Collaborate with teachers and the SEN coordinator to create individual support plans.
Deliver one-to-one or small group support to facilitate pupils in reaching their learning goals.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Foster the social and emotional development of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.

Requirements:

Advantageous to have prior experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
Ability to engage and support higher-ability pupils effectively.
Psychology graduates or individuals with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
