Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Your Role:
As an SEN TA, you will:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with diverse needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD).
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child.
- Foster a nurturing and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Use creativity and patience to engage and motivate students in their learning journey.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Can build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Has experience in a similar role or a keen interest in starting a career in SEN education.
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training) – desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
