SEN Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) - King's Lynn

Location: King's Lynn and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Term-Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a range of specialist school settings across King's Lynn.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference by supporting pupils with SEMH, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND/ SEMH.
• Assist with implementing personalised learning and support strategies
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND/ SEMH (professional or personal experience considered)
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
