One of our SEN schools, a therapeutic SEMH special school catering for 5 to 16 year olds, in King’s Lynn is looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to join them as soon as possible!
Role and Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational needs are met.
- Support classroom teachers in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Encourage social integration and the development of key life skills.
- Monitor and document students' progress, providing feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
