Sen Teaching Assistant

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £92.63 - £100 per day

Are you caring, patient and passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND?

We are looking for SEND LSAs to join specialist settings in Hatfield, supporting pupils with SEND, and complex learning needs.

The Role

You will be supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping them with:

• Learning and development
• Communication
• Personal care, where required
• Sensory and physical activities
• Building confidence and independence
• 1:1 and small-group support

You will work closely with teachers and other staff to make sure pupils feel safe, supported and included.

Who We're Looking For

Previous experience in SEND or a specialist setting is ideal, but it's not essential.

You may have transferable experience from roles such as:

• Support Worker
• Care Worker
• Healthcare Assistant
• Youth Worker
• Residential Support Worker
• Nursery or Childcare
• Sports Coach
• Teaching Assistant
• Other caring or people-focused roles

We're looking for someone who is kind, reliable, patient and enjoys working with people.

Driving is preferred but not essential.
