About the Role

Although you may be assigned to a specific age phase, flexibility is essential — the role may involve working across the full age range (Early Years to Key Stage 4).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning for pupils with complex or additional needs
  • Helping to deliver a highly adapted and engaging curriculum
  • Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and relational environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support teams
  • Building trust and fostering positive emotional and social growth

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • A strong interest in attachment‑informed and neurodiversity‑aware practice
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
  • The ability to build supportive, meaningful relationships with pupils
  • Willingness to learn new approaches and engage in ongoing development
  • Flexibility to work across year groups where needed

What the School Offers:

  • A welcoming, inclusive staff community with strong shared values
  • Flexible working approaches that support staff wellbeing
  • Additional wellbeing incentives, such as days off for full attendance
  • Modern, newly developed facilities designed to support diverse learners
  • Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities
  • Collaboration with skilled colleagues across a wider trust network
