Are you a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a full-time SEN TA to join a welcoming and supportive school from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Working alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals, you'll play a vital role in delivering tailored support both inside and outside the classroom. Every day is different, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on young people's education and wellbeing.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning plans.
  • Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help promote positive behaviour and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Available to work full-time from September 2026.
  • Flexible, patient, and able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
  • Experienced working in schools or with children (preferred but not essential, depending on transferable experience).
  • In possession of a full UK driving licenceessential.
  • Holding an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service to fast-track the recruitment process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
