Salary: £13.75 per hour

About the Role
Join a highly supportive SEN/PRU Secondary School in Bournemouth, working with students aged 11–16 who have a range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges, including ADHD, ASD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and more.
You’ll work closely with teachers to create a safe, engaging learning environment, helping students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. With small class sizes and modern facilities in Science, IT, Cookery, Art, and Health & Fitness, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships with learners!

What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children with SEN(D) in education or care settings
- Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Understanding of positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Comfortable working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
