SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS (ADHD Support) | Blackpool (FY3) | January 2026 Start

Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in EYFS with ADHD at a welcoming primary school in Blackpool (FY3).

The Role:

  • 1:1 support for a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage with ADHD
  • Assisting with learning, emotional regulation, and social development
  • Providing personal care as required
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school setting (essential)
  • Understanding of ADHD and strategies to support attention and behaviour
  • Comfortable with providing personal care
  • A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
