SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) – Barnstaple

Salary: £90 - £95 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Barnstaple. This full-time role could lead to a permanent position and gives you the chance to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN, including autism and ADHD.
Help develop and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Support students with behaviour, emotions, and social skills.
Work with teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom activities to keep students engaged and progressing.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with SEN students is a plus, but not required.
Patience, flexibility, and understanding in challenging situations.
A strong passion for helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
