SEN Teacher's Needed!

Location: West Sussex
Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available
Salary: Competitive – aligned with Teacher Pay Scale (dependent on role & responsibilities)

Are you a passionate SEN Teacher who believes every young person deserves the chance to thrive?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a range of outstanding SEN schools across West Sussex, supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and complex learning difficulties. We are seeking caring, resilient, and creative teachers who want to make a real, lasting impact.

What the role involves:

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs

  • Creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

  • Supporting emotional regulation, communication, and independence

  • Celebrating progress in all its forms — no matter how small

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS)

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build SEN experience

  • Teachers transitioning from mainstream into SEN

  • Cover Supervisors with strong SEN experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
