Location: Carmarthen
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teachers to join a specialist school in Carmarthenshire, supporting pupils aged 3-19 with a range of complex additional learning needs.

About the Pupils
You will support learners with:
✅ Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
✅ Severe & Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)
✅ Complex Communication Needs
✅ Physical Disabilities
✅ Medical Needs & Sensory Impairments
Your Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Lead small class groups alongside experienced Teaching Assistants
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
️ Support communication, independence and social development
Work collaboratively with families, therapists and support staff
Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans
What We're Looking For
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ EWC Registration (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Passion for SEN and inclusive education
✅ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

️ Speech, Language & Communication Needs
Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Specialist or SEND settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
