Job description

We are currently looking for a Teacher to work in a special school for pupils aged 2-19.  The School offer a happy and supportive environment, where pupils are given the best opportunities through an individualised curriculum and pathway.

The staff are highly motivated, professional and well-trained team of staff who work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure that all aspects of our offer meet the needs of each of our pupils.

You will hold QTS and have excellent planning and organisational skills.   You will also have an awareness of the needs of children who speak English as an additional language. 

If you want to make a difference to childrens lifes and the School and you have previous experience teaching children with special education needs, then we would welcome your application. This role will require you to deliver an individualised and engaging curriculum with a creative and caring approach.  We want you to make a positive difference to the lives of children. 

The ideal candidate: 

  • FQT or NQT with SEN Experience 
  • Able to plan and deliver 
  • Comfortable to work with a range of SEN including PMLD and SLD 
  • Experienced using Makaton and PECs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
