About the Role
As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Supporting pupils with a variety of SEN requirements, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
- Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to support individual development and achievement.

What We're Looking For

- Hold relevant teaching qualifications and QTS.
- Have experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs, or a strong interest in SEN education.
- Are creative, adaptable, and passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs.
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Are patient, resilient, and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel to schools and educational settings across Thetford and the surrounding areas is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
