Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? A School in Somerset is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a committed team and make a real difference in the lives of students.

The Role
As a Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
✅ Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
✅ Support students' social, emotional, and academic development, helping them achieve their full potential.
✅ Use a range of communication strategies and assistive technology to enhance learning.
✅ Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to provide a holistic education.
✅ Implement behaviour management strategies that promote emotional regulation and positive interactions.
What We’re Looking For
✨ A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or an interest in working with students with SEND.
✨ A patient, resilient, and empathetic educator who is passionate about inclusive education.
✨ Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
✨ Experience with strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory integration, or behaviour support.
✨ A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn new approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
