Teacher – SEN School (Autism) | Near Blandford Forum | Up to £45,000

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?

We are seeking a qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEN school near Blandford Forum. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced setting, either on a permanent basis or on a temporary contract until the end of the academic year.

About the School

This mixed-gender specialist provision caters for students aged 7–19, all with a primary diagnosis of Autism. Many students may also present with co-existing needs, including complex needs, challenging behaviour, learning difficulties, or a history of placement breakdowns.

  • Dedicated support staff – each student has their own Teaching Assistant

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a mixed curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. The successful candidate will be confident adapting teaching approaches, building positive relationships, and maintaining high expectations within a supportive SEN setting.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working within an SEN environment
  • Be confident delivering a broad and differentiated curriculum
  • Be available to work full-time
  • Demonstrate resilience, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
