SEN Teacher – Primary Schools
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Contract Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and committed SEN Teachers to work within Primary SEN schools across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

You will play a vital role in creating engaging learning experiences that support both academic achievement and personal growth.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that are tailored to the needs of your pupils, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Assessing and tracking pupil progress

Developing individual learning strategies and interventions

Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals

Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
About You
We are looking for candidates who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification

Have a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Can adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs

Are committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
Safeguarding and Compliance
All applicants must hold a Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through the registration process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
