An Inspiring Teaching Opportunity

We are recruiting a passionate SEN Teacher with QTS to join a highly regarded specialist education setting in Poole.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, supporting children and young people aged 2 to 18 across both primary and secondary phases. Working hours are 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Student Needs

Pupils present with a range of Special Educational Needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • Severe and complex learning difficulties

  • Communication and sensory processing needs

  • Social, emotional and developmental delays


Your Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment

  • Working closely with support staff, therapists and families

  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress, independence and wellbeing


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A minimum of 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs

  • A creative, patient and adaptable teaching approach

  • Strong commitment to inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
