Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a primary SEN school in Mitcham to recruit a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who has proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, and is confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in a specialist setting.
About the Role

Teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs within a primary school setting
-
Supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and complex needs
-
Delivering adapted and personalised lessons to meet individual learning needs
-
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN support staff
-
Creating a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment
-
ASAP start with potential for ongoing work
-
Full-time position (part-time may be considered)
Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
✔️ Proven experience working with SEN children in a UK school setting
✔️ Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning
✔️ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
