Contract Type: Full Time (Term-Time, Long-Term with Permanent Potential)
Day Rate: £160 - £220 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:
Are you a qualified SEN Teacher with the passion, patience, and expertise to support pupils with a wide range of complex needs? A specialist provision in Milton Keynes is looking for a skilled and compassionate teacher to join their team in September 2025.
This inclusive and well-resourced school supports pupils with a range of disabilities and additional learning needs, including autism, global developmental delay, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' EHCP targets.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
- Work closely with TAs, therapists, and support teams to provide holistic care.
- Implement behaviour regulation strategies and structured routines.
- Assess pupil progress using individualised frameworks and reporting systems.
- Support children’s communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching pupils with SEND.
- Sound understanding of EHCPs, differentiated planning, and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Experience working with a range of disabilities and complex needs.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and classroom management skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset.
- Full commitment to safeguarding and high-quality SEND practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
