Job description

We are currently recruiting a Teacher to join a dedicated team within a North Manchester SEN Primary School.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, planning, and adapting engaging lesson lessons, tailoring your teaching style to meet the needs of students with varied additional/ complex needs. The school’s core purpose is to support every child to develop their unique strengths and personality in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with or around vulnerable adults or children.
  • Full availability during school hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.

Preferred but Not Essential

  • Experience teaching primary-aged students with SEMH or behavioural needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, resilient, and nurturing approach

Vetting Requirements

This role is subject to standard safeguarding checks, including:

  • References covering the last two years of employment
  • Safeguarding training
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
