About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a vibrant school in Bournemouth. This role is ideal for an experienced SEN professional committed to supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and adaptive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of SEN students
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure continuity in learning
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN qualification
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a classroom setting
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and a flexible approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
