SEN Support Assistant Wanted

Location: Preston, PR1.
Contract: Full-time, temp to perm possibility.
Start Date: ASAP.
Teaching Personnel are working closesly with a primary SEN School in Preston who are looking for Support Assistants to join them on a full-time basis. The school is a nurturing and inclusive primary SEN school dedicated to providing outstanding education and support for children with diverse learning needs. The school pride themselves on our warm, welcoming environment and our commitment to helping every child thrive.
The Role:
The schooll are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join their fantastic team. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
Key Responsibilites:
✔️ Supporting pupils with their learning, development, and emotional well-being
✔️ Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
✔️ Providing one-to-one and small group support
✔️ Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
✔️ Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
