SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism / Behaviour Specialist (Blackburn & Darwen)
Part‑time or full‑time | Immediate starts | £13–£15 per hour
Are you confident supporting children with autism, emotional regulation needs, or challenging behaviours?
Do you enjoy 1:1 work and want to make a real impact in a local primary or SEND school?
I'm looking for proactive, reliable and committed SEN specialists to support pupils across Blackburn (BB1) and Darwen (BB2). You’ll be working with a child who needs calm consistency, patience, and strong communication.
⭐ What I’m looking for:
- Experience supporting children with ASD, SEMH or behavioural needs
- Someone who can build rapport and follow support plans
- Great communication with the school + agency
- Reliable, punctual and positive
- Available for 3+ days per week (flexible around part‑time)
⭐ Roles available:
- 1:1 Autism Support
- Behaviour Mentor / Regulation Support
- KS1 & KS2 SEND Assistants
- Short‑term or ongoing placements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
