Job Title: SEN Teacher – Immediate start- Centre of Manchester
Location:  City centre
Start Date: Immediate starts
Contract Type: Agency – Full-Time / Long-Term

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the heart of Manchester? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated professional to join a supportive and dynamic team, working with children who have a range of special educational needs including Autism, Profound and multiple Learning disabilities (PMLD), Physical disabilities, Global Development Delay

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • Experience working with SEN pupils – Minimum 1 year preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Required
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service – or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN
  • Implement and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings
