SEN Pupil Support Assistant

Job description

A school in Blackpool are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Pupil Support Assistant who can join their dedicated team to support a Y3 child, 1:1 and in small groups. Your role will be to support and enhance learning opportunities for the child by working with them in the classroom and alongside other education professionals.

The school works hard to actively create a warm, happy atmosphere that enables their children to feel secure and to work towards their individual goals.

The successful candidate will:
Have the ability to;

    • build effective relationships with children

 

    • implement strategies to remove barriers to learning

 

    • provide support to individual children with SEMH needs




They will also;

    • be passionate about raising aspirations

 

    • be a champion for the child they are working with

 

    • have excellent communication skills

 

    • be able to use their initiative and be a flexible team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
