SEN Teaching Assistant
Manchester City Area | Primary SEN School | Full-Time | September Start | Teaching Personnel
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary SEN School in the Manchester City area this September.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities, sensory needs, and challenging behaviour. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in a child's development, confidence, and learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist in delivering personalised learning activities
- Support pupils with communication, social, and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet individual needs
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Relevant qualifications or transferable experience are welcomed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
