EN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) – Bideford

Location: Bideford
Salary: £90 - £95 per day
Start Date: 4th November
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Teaching Personnel is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a partner school in Bideford. This full-time, temp-to-perm position provides an exciting opportunity to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Help students manage their behaviour, emotions, and social skills.
Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support daily classroom activities to keep students engaged and progressing.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with SEN children is desirable but not required.
Ability to be patient, flexible, and understanding in challenging situations.
A passion for supporting young people in reaching their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
