Early Years Teacher – Reading Area
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Full-Time | Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team in Reading.
About the Role:
We are seeking a committed Early Years professional to deliver high-quality teaching in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will play a key role in creating a stimulating and engaging curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity, and early development.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
-
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
-
Monitor and assess children’s development and progress effectively
-
Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively within the early years team
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Has experience working within an Early Years setting (nursery or reception)
-
Demonstrates a deep understanding of child development and early learning
-
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
-
Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
