SEN ASC Primary Teaching Assistant

Start Date: 21^st September.

Pay: £95 - £100 per day, paid weekly (dependant on experience).

Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Gateshead focused on working with pupils who specifically require ASC, SEN and SEND support. This is a rewarding role with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children living with Special Educational Needs and Autism Spectrum Condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEN and ASC in the classroom.
• Assist the teacher with lesson delivery.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Passionate about assisting both teachers and pupils.
• Promote care and proactiveness in classroom.

Requirements:

• Experience working 1:1 with children with ASC or SEND.
• Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain one.
• Patient and supportive approach.
• Have a nurturing and patient manor.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
