SEMH Teaching Assistant

Job description

A Primary School in Skelmersdale are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support the needs of their young people.

The school caters for pupils with SEMH, Autism and associated behavioural difficulties.

The role is long-term and to start ASAP!

Class sizes are small.

You must have experience supporting children with special needs and be strong and resilient with regards to behaviour management.

This school have been known to take candidates onto a permanent contract and have done this on numerous occasions for candidates who have impressed them.

The school has a very strong and extremely supportive SLT, as well as teachers and support staff.

The school are interested in candidates who have worked in PRU's, Prisons, SEN Schools, Youth Work, Sports coaching, Residential care / support etc!

Working hours will be 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
