Do you want a role where relationships matter more than results?
We are working with a specialist SEMH setting in Blandford Forum that supports children and young people aged 5–16, many of whom have faced barriers to mainstream education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with EHCPs and SEMH needs
- Help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Celebrate progress — no matter how small
This role suits individuals with backgrounds in:
- SEN or SEMH education
- Youth work, care, or mental health support
- Psychology, criminology or social sciences
Training and ongoing support are provided. A genuine passion for helping young people succeed is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
