SEMH STEM Teacher – Secondary (Permanent)
Location: Liverpool (L8)
Salary: £31,000 – £42,000 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Teaching Personnel Liverpool are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEMH trust and an alternative provision in Liverpool (L8), who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher of STEM subjects for secondary-aged students on a permanent basis.

The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated STEM lessons to secondary students with SEMH needs
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, promoting both academic and personal development
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support student progress and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has proven experience working within SEMH and/or SEND settings
- Confident teaching STEM subjects at secondary level
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
- Committed to supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
