You’ll be working across SEMH schools, PRUs, and alternative provisions, supporting pupils who may:

  • Display challenging behaviour linked to SEMH needs
  • Have experienced trauma or disrupted education
  • Struggle with emotional regulation and engagement
  • Require consistent, structured support to succeed

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering adapted, engaging lessons suited to pupils’ needs
  • Building strong, trusting relationships to support engagement
  • Using de-escalation, restorative, and behaviour strategies
  • Creating a calm, structured, and predictable environment
  • Supporting EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
