Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with SEMH schools, PRUs, and Alternative Provisions across East Manchester, offering long-term, day-to-day and temp-perm September roles for skilled practitioners ready to support some of the most vulnerable learners.

The Role
Working with pupils aged 5–11 (KS1–KS2) with SEMH needs, you will:
- Deliver adapted, engaging primary curriculum lessons
- Support pupils with trauma, attachment and behaviour needs
- Lead structured, nurturing classroom environments
- Work closely with pastoral teams and external professionals
- Use trauma-informed and restorative approaches
What You’ll Bring
- ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- ✅ Strong primary teaching experience (KS1/KS2)
- ✅ Background in SEMH, SEND or alternative provision
- ✅ Confident behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- ✅ A calm, resilient and relationship-led approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
