Secondary Supply Teacher

Location: England, Greater London, Wandsworth

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £140 - £165 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the educational experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching secondary school students
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support student learning
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work in a secondary school environment
  • Potential for travel to different school locations within the Greater London area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
