HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) | SEN Secondary School | Manchester City Centre | Full-Time | September Start
Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference? Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist SEN secondary school in Manchester City Centre that supports students with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, challenging behaviours, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing needs, and learning disabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team where every day makes an impact.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting students with complex SEN needs both in and out of the classroom
Delivering targeted interventions and small group sessions
Leading lessons and covering classes when required
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping students develop confidence, independence, and life skills
What we're looking for:
✅ HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
✅ Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN
✅ Strong behaviour management and communication skills
✅ A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
✅ Passion for helping young people achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
