About the Roles:

Positions:

  • English Teacher (QTS) 
  • English Graduate Cover Supervisor
    Location: Various schools in Rochdale & Oldham
    Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner)
    Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent & Long-term supply opportunities available
    Salary:
  • Teachers: MPS1 – UPS3 (Dependant on experience)
  • Cover Supervisors: Competitive daily rates

Requirements:

✅ For Teachers: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
✅ For Cover Supervisors: Degree in English or related subject
✅ Passion for English and inspiring a love for literature and language
✅ Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students
✅ Commitment to school life and the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
