Are you a highly organised School Administrator with a background in educational settings?
We are supporting a specialist SEN provision in Wimborne seeking a confident and experienced professional to join their office team on a full-time basis.
This is an urgent vacancy with a start date available as early as next week.
We are looking for somebody who can quickly integrate into a busy school office, provide efficient administrative support, and contribute positively from day one. Previous experience within schools, colleges, or educational services is highly desirable.
About the Position
As School Administrator, you will play a key part in the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, families, staff and external agencies whilst ensuring all administrative functions are completed accurately and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing reception duties and handling enquiries
• Maintaining pupil records and confidential documentation
• Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
• Coordinating diaries, meetings and appointments
• Processing emails, correspondence and telephone calls
• Assisting with admissions and school compliance requirements
• Producing reports and maintaining accurate databases
• Providing administrative support to leadership and teaching teams
What We Are Looking For
• Previous school administration experience
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to prioritise workload within a fast-paced environment
• Professional, approachable and adaptable attitude
• Experience supporting SEN settings is advantageous
• Candidates who can hit the ground running immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
