Lytham St Annes (FY8) Full-Time | Long-Term Role Start Date: September 2026

Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RS Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Lytham St Annes on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encouraging them to explore a range of religious, ethical and philosophical topics while developing their critical thinking and analytical skills.

The Role

  • Teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote student achievement and progress.
  • Assessing, tracking and supporting student development.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Religious Studies within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about inspiring young people and fostering a love of learning.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Can contribute positively to the wider school community.
