Teacher of Religious Studies- Full Time- After Easter 2026 start- B92, Solihull

 

Are you a qualified RS teacher seeking an opportunity to work in a lovely mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Solihull?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a school in Solihull to appoint a dedicated and passionate teacher of RS.

 

The role is a cover role so there would be no expectation of planning, however, you would be expected to mark.

 

Ideal Applicant:

- Hold a UK QTS in Religious Studies or Humanities

- Previous experience and proven track record teaching RS within a UK based secondary school on a long-term basis

- Excellent classroom presence and behaviour management skills

- The ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other teachers within the department

- Strong school based references from previous employers

- Ability to commit to the full time role from April 13th- July 17th 2026.

 

Job Role:

- To deliver engaging and informative RS lessons to a range of year groups

- To manage classroom behaviour effectively, setting high standards of conduct and behaviour

- To collaborate well with colleagues within the school to ensure you are driving standards and results

- To be an advocate for Teaching Personnel, remaining respectful, honest and expressing quality in all of your work

- To support students who are of a lower ability or who may have special educational needs, where required

- To provide insightful feedback to students to support them with their learning and development

 

Finer Details:

- Rate of pay: To Scale (MPS/UPS)

-Location: Solihull, B92

- Hours: 08:30-15:05 (Mon-Fri, term time only)
