Religious Education Teacher (ECT or Experienced Teacher) – Milton Keynes Secondary School
January 2026 Start | £150–£240 per day (depending on experience)
A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate and reflective Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026.

The Role
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that explore world religions, ethics, philosophy, and contemporary moral issues. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards QTS
- A degree in Religious Education, Philosophy, Theology, or a related subject
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A reflective and empathetic approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people and promoting thoughtful discussion
Salary
- £150–£240 per day
- Equivalent to MPS–UPS3, dependent on experience and qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
