RE Teacher – Godalming & Surrounding Areas
Location: Godalming & surrounding areas, Surrey
Contract: Part-time, 4 days per week
Start Date: ASAP until Christmas
Salary: £140–£240 per day, depending on experience
Are you a passionate Religious Education Teacher looking for a new opportunity in the Godalming and surrounding Surrey areas?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Godalming, Guildford, Woking and the surrounding areas who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join their teams on a 4-day-per-week basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build experience within a supportive secondary school environment.
The Role:

Teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

Supporting students to develop their knowledge and understanding of Religious Education
-
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
-
Working collaboratively with the wider Humanities/RE department
-
Monitoring and assessing student progress
-
Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
-
Experience teaching RE within a secondary school setting
-
A genuine passion for Religious Education and working with young people
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
-
Reliable, organised and enthusiastic
-
Happy to work 4 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
