We are pleased to invite applications for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of RE to join a secondary school from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified teacher to become part of a supportive and ambitious department with a strong focus on achievement and student progress.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach RE across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in RE
- Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and inform planning
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education
- Maintains high expectations for all students
- Is reflective, organised and committed to professional development
- Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with students, colleagues and parents
This role is suitable for experienced teachers, and exceptional ECTs will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
