Religious Education (RE) Teacher – Secondary School | Liverpool
Location: Liverpool
Position: RE Teacher

Salary: £150 - £210 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and inspiring RE Teacher seeking a new opportunity to make a real impact? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Religious Education Teacher for a long-term role starting in the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Promote critical thinking, tolerance, and cultural understanding

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support the wider ethos and values of the school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (KS3/KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • A commitment to inclusive and reflective teaching practices
