An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bridport, Dorset, from September 2026.

Working through our education recruitment team, you will be joining a supportive school community that values academic achievement, personal development, and respect for diverse beliefs and perspectives. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons that encourage students to develop critical thinking, empathy, and an understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and discussion.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for students.
