The Role

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where applicable.
• Encourage students to explore a range of religious, philosophical and ethical perspectives.
• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
• Contribute to the continued success and development of the Humanities faculty.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and personal development.
• Participate in the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities and extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge within Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy or a related discipline.
• The ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that motivate all learners.
• High expectations for achievement, progress and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people fulfil their potential.
