Salary: £130–£251 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is recruiting an exceptional RE Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to secondary school students across Gateshead. The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment that encourages learning and promotes high standards of behaviour.
  • Assess, monitor, and support students' progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and wider school staff to enhance students' academic and personal development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student success.
